Dear Readers
Happy Halloween! And it will be unfair if we didn't write or talk about the wizarding world, The most popular book series of all time its Harry Potter written by J. K. Rowling.
The book concern a wizard called Harry Potter and his journey through Hogwarts School of witchcraft and Wizardry. The stories tell of him overcoming deadly obstacles to defeat the Dark wizard Lord Voldemort who killed his parents when Harry was 15 months old.
Today I will share some of the characters from the Harry Potter books, which taught us valuable lessons about life.
This Personality List Will Determine Which Harry Potter Movie Character You Are
Albus Dumbledore
Professor Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore was a half-blood wizard. He was the Defence Against the Dark Arts Professor, later the Transfiguration Professor, and then the Headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
He was the greatest wizard of modern times, perhaps of all time. He had a sharp mind and legendary power and became the only wizard that Voldemort ever feared. He was the master of the Elder Wand. He was kind, determined, responsible and always sees the inner beauty of people.
He also served in recruiting of brilliant students for Hogwarts. Most notable among the students he recruited was Tom Riddle. He was the leader of a secret organisation of witches and wizards willing to risk their lives to fight Voldemort and his Death Eaters. He was smart and skilful.
He was typically speaking in a calm, settled voice, and being determined, but generous and kind. He was always polite, even to people who he found rude.
Sirius Black
Sirius was an idle student of a Gryffindor. He was brave and courageous, as shown by his participation in both battles and eagerness to die for those he loved. Sirius was loyal to his best friend, James Potter, a fellow Gryffindor. In his youth, he was a keen and talented wizard, but also quite an arrogant and mischievous troublemaker, and sometimes, a bully. He bullied those he particularly disliked, namely Severus Snape. He, along with James, was recognised to be some of the most bright students Hogwarts had ever seen, as proven by their ability to become Animagi as underage wizards and by the creation of the Marauders' Map.
Later on, he seldom manifested himself to be reckless, immature, and even downright irresponsible. However, through it all, Sirius had good intentions.
Fred Weasley
Fred Weasley was the more outgoing, bold, and contemptuous of the twins. He was a prankster and could be quite cruel in dealing with the victims of his pranks, particularly his older brother Percy.
Both he and George were famous for their senses of humour; they were able to make people laugh and relax even in hard times. Neither Fred nor George took school very seriously, but they were both very talented wizards. Demonstrated their imagination in their inventions and their marketing sense in running a highly lucrative shop. They were also loyal to their loved ones and brave, and unafraid to stand up against what they thought was wrong, whether it was Dolores Umbridge's tyranny at Hogwarts or Death Eaters.
Minerva McGonagall
Minerva almost discharged kindness and sternness, being held in great respect by nearly all students and staff. Used to having her way, she tolerated neither courage nor silliness from her pupils and was known to turn cold towards people who said or did things in front of her that were stupid, or if she thought they were trying to be ironic. She was a woman who rarely smiled or gave compliments freely. Despite her strict attitude, Minerva did display a dry sense of humour which usually came out when times were difficult. She wasn't afraid to speak her mind and showed quite a sharp tongue, especially during arguments.
Neville Longbottom
When he was younger, Neville was cumbersome, absent-minded, shy, and many considered him mismatched for Gryffindor house because he seemed frightened. Still, Neville proved that the Sorting Hat had seen the bravery beneath his insecurity, as he stood up to his only friends as a first-year and later became one of the D.A.’s most courageous members. He held no prejudice against half-bloods or Muggle-borns. Neville appeared to experience from a sort of post-traumatic stress disorder, as the agony of a spider via the cruciatus curse by Barty Crouch Junior in cover as Alastor Moody was enough to cause him a severe anxiety attack. Neville became more confident, more self-assured, and dedicated to the fight against Lord Voldemort and his Death Eaters. Neville transformation allowed him to change from a scaredy-cat into an honourable lion, becoming a fearsome defender of his fellow students during Voldemort reign. Suffice it to say, Neville appointment to Gryffindor House was well-deserved.
Tom Riddle
Voldemort was considered by many to be the evilest wizard in hundreds and hundreds of years. His nature far exceeded that of any sinner and Dumbledore declared that he went beyond evil in the scope of his crimes. Hagrid claimed that while all Dark Wizards go bad, Voldemort went worse than worse. Indeed, Voldemort rapidly developed into a power-obsessed megalomaniac of the worst kind and the worst of any known Dark Wizard, being considered by all to be far eviler than even Gellert Grindelwald. He has anti-social traits in his childhood, from stealing, to disturbing incidences with other children. Dumbledore stated that the young Riddle had a disregard for rules. In adult life, he performed the darkest of magic and had no regard for human life. Voldemort was a fecund killer, killing so many. He created an army of Inferi. Voldemort also did not believe in the notion of good and evil, as he made clear to Harry in their encounter at the Mirror of Erised, and that only power and those too weak to seek it truly mattered.
Voldemort main obsessions were; immortality, pure-blood supremacy, the attempts on Harry Potter life, and the search for the Elder Wand. There was reflected in his daily habits as well: he had a magpie-like tendency to collect lots of small objects and hold onto them. As a child, he has shown keeping things that he stole from the other orphans, which eventually blossomed into his conception of the Horcruxes.
Ronald Bilius Weasley
Ron was a very faithful, brave, and humorous person, but sometimes immature, and insensitive. He had a sarcastic, wisecracking sense of humour that often brought his friends laughter and relaxation. However, as Hermione Granger and Luna Lovegood pointed out, his humour could occasionally be harmful, even if unintentionally. During his time searching for Voldemort Horcruxes with Harry and Hermione, Ron matured greatly and even took to leading the trio when Harry temporarily fell into a depressive mood.
He could be argumentative. A trait particularly displayed in his bickering with the equally factious and seldom highly critical Hermione. It was never hateful and generally a way to hide their deeper feelings for each other. Inheriting the Weasley trait of a short-temper Ron was not above incentive when dealing with the spiteful treatment of Professor Snape and the bigotry and hatred of Draco Malfoy. Always willing to stand up for his friends and family even when angry with them, Ron never stopped standing up for Hermione when she faced Muggle-born related prejudice and hatred. He also stood by Harry side when he was meet with scepticism and scorn from his classmates and Wizard society in general.
Ron was particularly fond of food. He tended to talk with his mouth full.
Luna Scamander (née Lovegood)
Luna was a quirky girl, with a calm nature and many strange beliefs and qualities. She was a complete eccentric; she lacked self-consciousness and was not afraid to show who she was. Luna was also intelligent and very perceptive have been sorted into Ravenclaw where those of wit and learning will always find their kind. A prime example of Luna perceptiveness was when she pointed out the ironically extreme measures taken against Sirius Black when he escaped Azkaban and but when ten Death Eaters escaped, barely measures were taken to recapture them.
Luna introducing Harry to the Thestrals
Although many thought Luna was fantastic, Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, Neville Longbottom, Ginny Weasley, Dean Thomas and Ollivander ultimately became very fond of her.
Luna was often the subject of contempt and had difficulty making friends. Other students gave her the nickname of Loony Lovegood and even hid her things. She was unfazed by this, and instead chose to be non-judgmental, and accepting of those around her.
Hermione Jean Granger
Hermione was noted for being both remarkably intellectual curious and very hard-working, coming out on top in most of her classes and continuously aiding Harry and Ron in their adventures. She was earnest that the Ministry allowed her a Time-Turner in her third year, a device that rewinds time so that she could take extra courses. Because of her performance and compassion, Hermione often had time to do hobby work on the side, such as preparing a defence for Buckbeak to save him from execution and creating S.P.E.W., an organisation promoting the freedom of house-elves. Such acts demonstrated her social morals and resolution.
Hermione willingly relied on logic, which often helped her to cleverly gather the information that many others missed, such as Remus Lupin lycanthropy. Hermione was straightforward with her opinions, sometimes to the point of being insensitive.
Hermione was very responsible, a stern perfectionist and well put-together who often attempted to act as the voice of reason among her more spontaneous friends, to varying levels of achievement. These traits led to her being made a prefect during her fifth year. Throughout her entire school career, Hermione was persistent on order and steadfastly dedicated to the rules, often at the expense of her popularity. Her sense of humour was limited, frequently expressing disapproval over Fred and George practical jokes and threatened to put them in detention for selling prank items in the room.
Because of her opinionated, interfering nature, Hermione had a reputation for being a bossy know-it-all.
Harry James Potter
The boy who lived!
Harry Potter was a courageous, loyal, and selfless person who possessed enormous strength of character. He willingly went to what he truly believed to be his death and believes that this was the only way to defeat the Dark Lord. Harry was also marked by what Lord Voldemort once deemed a weakness for heroics — he would go to measures and take great jeopardies to help others, particularly his loved ones. Harry was also very strong-willed and unafraid to stand up for himself. The fact that he was capable of repelling the Imperius Curse suggests that he had an unusually strong sense of himself and his morals. Dumbledore once made parallels between Harry traits and qualities that Salazar Slytherin looked for in his hand-picked students. He also noted that Harry choice not to draw on those qualities defined who he was, rather than the simple fact that he had them.
Harry was perfectly prepared to put his friend needs and best interests first. The amount of trust that Harry put into his friends was strong that he refused to consider that any of them would betray him to Voldemort.
Harry possessed an instinctual, inherent intelligence. This intelligence allowed him to make intellectual leaps, as opposed to the logical intelligence of Hermione. For example, Harry predicted the truth about the Deathly Hallows well before Hermione would accept it.
Albus Dumbledore noted that Harry was loving and compassionate. This is shown by how he freed Dobby from the Malfoys and by standing up for Muggle-borns, half-bloods, and half-breeds (like Hagrid).
Harry claims that too many people died for the Boy Who Lived and that he was not worth dying for at all. Harry depression and trauma are caused by not having removed, Voldemort from his life. He fears that he will always allow Voldemort to have some mental and emotional control over him.
