What is the Perspective?

Perspective is the way to draw three-dimensional objects on a two-dimensional surface by giving the right impression of their height, width, depth, and position about each other.

One Point Perspective

One point perspective is a technique used for drawing objects that are in front of the observer, their width lines are parallel to the horizon, and their height lines are perpendicular to the horizon.

How to do?

  • Draw a horizontal line and make a point on it, called Vanishing Point.
  • Draw a rectangle.
  • Now meet the depth with the vanishing point
  • Now draw the box and finish.
Example:

Two Point Perspective

In this technique parallel lines along the width and depth of an object are represented as meeting at two points on the horizon that are 90 degrees apart as measured from the common intersection of the lines of projection.

How to do?

  • Draw a horizontal line and make a two-point on it, called Vanishing Points.
  • Draw a verticle line.
  • Now meet the depth with the vanishing points
  • Now draw the box and finish.

Three-point Perspective

In this technique, parallel lines along the width of an object meet at two points on the horizon, and vertical lines meet at a point on the perpendicular bisector of the horizon line.

How to do?

  • Draw a horizontal line and make a two-point on it, called Vanishing Points.
  • Draw a point perpendicular to the horizon line.
  • Draw a verticle line.
  • Now meet the depth with the vanishing points
  • Now draw the box and finish.
